Snowflake has appointed Mayank Upadhyay as its new Chief Security & Trust Officer. Upadhyay brings over two decades of experience at Google, where he contributed to foundational security technologies including BeyondCorp (zero-trust architecture), multi-factor authentication rollout, and passkeys. In his new role, he will unify Snowflake's corporate and product security under a single strategy, with a focus on AI-native controls to help enterprises safely adopt agentic AI.
