SmartBear has expanded its API lifecycle management platform with a revamped Swagger Catalog offering unified API visibility and governance, plus Swagger Contract Testing with drift detection to verify APIs behave as specified in OpenAPI contracts. Later this quarter, SmartBear plans to add an updated API editor, AI-powered API generation, context-aware documentation, Spectral-based governance enforcement, an MCP Server, and expanded multi-protocol support including OpenAPI 3.1, AsyncAPI 3.0, and GraphQL.
