Finnish smart ring company Oura has confidentially submitted a Form S-1 to the SEC, signaling plans for an IPO. Founded in 2015, Oura has sold 5.5 million rings to date and was valued at $11 billion following an $875 million Series E round in September 2025. The company differentiates itself from competitors like Fitbit, Garmin, and Apple Watch with a ring form factor that tracks sleep, activity, and readiness. Oura has also recently launched a proprietary AI model focused on women's health to serve its growing female customer base.
