MetalBear has released six Agent Skills for AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, and others) that teach them how to use mirrord — a tool that runs local processes as if they were real pods inside a Kubernetes cluster. The six skills cover: quickstart setup, config generation, operator installation for teams, CI integration testing, per-developer database branching, and Kafka queue splitting. The goal is to close the feedback loop for AI agents by giving them access to real cluster state (env vars, DNS, network, databases, queues) rather than having them guess from logs. The entire bundle installs with a single command.
