Shopify has announced that Shopify Scripts will be fully deprecated by June 30, 2026. Starting April 15, 2026, editing or publishing new Scripts will no longer be possible, and by June 30, 2026, all Scripts will stop executing. Shopify Functions is being enhanced with new capabilities for discounts, shipping, and payments to replace Scripts. Developers are encouraged to use the Shopify Scripts customizations report to plan their migration to Shopify Functions or public apps.
