Shopify's Admin GraphQL API (2026-07) now exposes a shipping line field on FulfillmentOrderLineItem. This allows order management and fulfillment apps to query the shipping method associated with each line item. It is especially useful when fulfillment orders are merged across different delivery profiles and the per-line shipping service isn't identified by the fulfillment order's delivery method. Apps can use properties like carrier service and shipping method to accurately map line items.
