Shifting from Laragon to Herd on Windows

I’m curious, how can I use Herd for my local php web server and just that? I’m a beginner learning php wanting to switch from XAMPP to Herd. Will this app drain more of my laptop battery life?

This is a good article, but I am in the boat where not sure to switch because of the DB. Yes I do believe SQLite is the future, but knowing that Herd free is so limited and tools like XAMPP and Laragon offers you the possibility to add diverse DBs like Postgres makes me wander if I wanna switch or not. But hey this is my opinion, great article by the way.

no need switch to herd, because laragon has diverse functionality, in someway better then xampp and herd, instead of launching herd , Laravel should fund the laragon
