shadcn/cli v4 launches with major new features including shadcn/skills (context for coding agents), --preset flag for packing entire design system configs into a short code, --dry-run/--diff/--view flags for inspecting registry changes before writing, new project templates for Next.js, Vite, Laravel, React Router, Astro and TanStack Start, monorepo support, and first-class font registry type. The release is explicitly designed to work with AI coding agents like Claude, Codex, v0, and Replit.
