Seiko USA website defaced as hacker claims customer data theft

The Seiko USA website was defaced over the weekend by attackers who claim to have breached its Shopify backend and stolen the entire customer database. The defaced page displayed a ransom demand warning that names, email addresses, phone numbers, order history, shipping data, and account details would be publicly leaked unless Seiko USA contacted the attackers within 72 hours. The extortion message has since been removed from the site, but Seiko USA has not publicly confirmed the breach or responded to press inquiries.
