The CNCF Security Slam returns for 2026 as a month-long community event (Feb 20 - Mar 20) focused on improving security hygiene in open source projects. Now expanded beyond CNCF projects to all open source projects published to LFX Insights, participants receive guidance, support resources, and recognition through custom plaques and badges. The event includes new coverage of the Cyber Resilience Act and culminates with awards at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe.
