Cloudflare is launching Cloudflare Mesh, a private networking solution designed for users, servers, and AI agents. It replaces the WARP Connector (now called Mesh node) and WARP Client (now Cloudflare One Client) with a unified experience that connects devices, VMs, and Workers-based agents over a private network routed through Cloudflare's global edge. Key features include bidirectional many-to-many connectivity, NAT traversal via Cloudflare's backbone, free tier of 50 nodes and 50 users, and integration with Workers VPC so agents built with the Agents SDK can access private databases and APIs via a simple binding. Upcoming features include hostname routing, automatic Mesh DNS, identity-aware routing for agents (principal/agent/scope model), and a Docker image for containerized environments.
