Black Tabby Games, the studio behind Slay the Princess and Scarlet Hollow, has launched Black Tabby Publishing, a new game publishing label. Their first signed title is Prove You're Human, an FMV game from Sunset Visitor (creators of 1000xResist). The studio is fully funding the project and offering developer-friendly deal terms: a 70/30 rev share before recoup, 30% after recoup, no interest on recoup, a three-year term, and full IP rights returning to the developer. Co-founders Abby Howard and Tony Howard-Arias say their lean operation and financial stability allow them to take on publishing without needing every game to be a hit, with the goal of making signed developers fully self-sufficient.
