Salesforce is the #1 CRM in the world. Billions in revenue. Thousands of certifications. An entire ecosystem built around it.
But let’s be honest for a second…
Why does it take 6 months to onboard a new admin?
Why do simple automations require 3 different tools?
Why does every project need a consultant just to set up a basic flow?
I’ve been deep in the Salesforce ecosystem. I’m a Trailhead Ranger. I genuinely love what Salesforce can do.
But complexity for the sake of complexity is not a feature — it’s a problem.

<h2>The Reality Nobody Talks About</h2>
🔴 You need Flows for automation — but also Process Builder (deprecated), Workflow Rules (deprecated), and sometimes Apex anyway.
🔴 You want to customize a page? Learn Lightning App Builder, Lightning Web Components, AND Visualforce — just in case.
🔴 You want pricing automation? That’s CPQ. Separate product. Separate certification. Separate price tag.
🔴 You want AI? That’s Agentforce. Another layer. Another learning curve.

<h2>The Question Worth Asking</h2>
At what point does “powerful and flexible” become “bloated and overwhelming”?
For enterprise companies with big teams and big budgets — Salesforce is a monster tool.
For mid-size companies trying to just manage their customers? It might be overkill.

Salesforce’s complexity is both its greatest strength AND its biggest weakness.
It can do everything. But that’s exactly the problem — it tries to do everything, and that comes at a cost that not everyone can afford. Time. Money. Sanity. 😅
