AWS has announced general availability of Amazon EC2 P5.4xl instances on SageMaker notebook instances. These instances are powered by NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs, offering up to 4x faster performance compared to previous-generation GPU instances and up to 40% cost reduction for ML model training. They are suited for training and deploying LLMs, diffusion models, and generative AI applications. The instances are available in multiple AWS regions including US East, US West, Asia Pacific, and South America.
