Microsoft South Africa partnered with SABC to offer AI training videos on the SABC Plus streaming platform, aiming to democratize AI skills education. The initiative targets basic AI fluency, including prompting and tool proficiency, with learners able to earn recognized credentials. Microsoft has already trained 1.4 million people toward its goal of skilling one million in AI, and will leverage SABC Plus's 1.9 million registered users to expand reach across South Africa.
