SA start-up uses AI to build websites for R69/month

Lekker.build is a South African AI-powered website builder that lets non-technical users create production-grade websites for R69/month using natural language prompts. Built by entrepreneur Anthony van Tonder, the platform uses Google Gemini to generate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and hosts sites via Cloudflare Pages. A test site can be live in under five minutes. Currently limited to one-page sites, the roadmap includes multi-page support, Google My Business integration, and a WhatsApp-based building interface aimed at small business owners who rely heavily on the messaging platform.
