Man I love the speed, specially it’s very good at handling big files, it is hell to open 25mb file on VSCode, zed manages smoothly does not even feel the file is bigger

I’m using zed since few 2 months and it is so better than vscode
Better UI, better perfs. The only thing I had was the AI integration (I’m using openrouter) because I’ve to find the good LLM. Since 2 weeks they fix some problems with AI and it work well with qwen 3.6
I just have some trouble with shortcut, hard to customize but I may do something wrong and I didn’t take the time to go deeper.

I’ve tried Zed it’s good but for me for small things VSCode is a bit better. But the project is great.

I’m here in the comment section disappointed that no one hasn’t written “btw, I use vim”
