Rust is a popular programming language known for its memory safety, performance, and strong concurrency model, used extensively in large applications like browsers, operating systems, and embedded systems. <p>It’s not that I see no reason to use Zig over Rust; it’s that I see no reason to use Zig over C++. C++ also allows me to manually control memory, and also to use memory handling classes like <code>std::shared_ptr&lt;T&gt;</code>, and also allows me to customize them with custom disposal methods. Zig provides responsibility with limited options; C++ provides nearly-unlimited options with responsibility.</p>


<p>I wonder how Zig provide even more control over memory than Rust.</p>
