A developer ported Windows CE 2.11 to the Nintendo 64 by leveraging the fact that both the N64 and certain Windows CE devices share a MIPS CPU architecture. Using Microsoft's official Windows CE Platform Builder SDK, they created a board-specific configuration for the N64. The result runs surprisingly smoothly, and with a flash cart like the EverDrive, users can even load applications from an SD card within the Windows GUI. The full project is available on GitHub.
