FluentAssertions has announced that starting with version 8, the library will no longer be free and will cost $130 per developer. Version 7 will continue receiving critical updates and remain free indefinitely.

Glad you posted this. I was looking at Daily.Dev while waiting for my builds to complete just after updating to v8. The fact there’s no indication on the package that the licence has changed on v8 is…not good.

How delusional must you be to think you can charge so much money for an assertion library that’s been always free…? crazy
