Rudra is a new open-source GNOME Shell extension that provides a compact, keyboard-driven launcher inspired by macOS tools like Alfred and Raycast. Triggered via Ctrl+Shift+Space, it lets users search and launch apps, open system settings panels, browse home folder files, run commands, and search Google or YouTube — all from a small Spotlight-style input box. Unlike GNOME's built-in full-screen overview, Rudra stays compact and unobtrusive. It supports GNOME 45–49, is configurable (font, colors, position), and requires the libglib2.0-bin package.
