Ruby Friends, a networking app for Ruby developers, launched in the App Store after 12 days of development. The app helps conference attendees connect by sharing profiles via QR codes, with no social media features - just simple friend connections. It reached 100 profiles within 48 hours and now has over 250 users. Built using Hotwire Native and Ruby on Rails, the development process was streamed live on YouTube, covering iOS app setup, tab bar implementation, and sign-in flow integration.
