This is embarrassing. I wanted to try OpenClaw but sandbox it, so I installed a Linux VM on a Mac Mini and had ChatGPT walk me through the setup. Instead of just going to the OpenClaw site and copy-pasting the one-line install command, it took me on a four hour adventure in Terminal. run on the slowest Linux environment imaginable. Eventually I got OpenClaw running. Which is to say: the open-source C++ reimplementation of the 1997 2D platformer Captain Claw. Trying again, without the help of AI this time...
