Shopify has revamped how partner organizations manage users and stores. Key changes include a new role-based access control (RBAC) system with seven system roles covering org-wide administration, store access, app development, and collaborator permissions, plus support for custom roles. The organization structure now features one Organization Owner and multiple Organization Admins. All dev stores, client transfer stores, and collaborator stores are consolidated into a single Dev Dashboard. Existing organizations are automatically migrated with no action required, and Partner Dashboard features like payouts and app distribution remain unchanged.
