Rockstar Games confirmed a data breach via a third-party SaaS platform, Anodot, which gave hackers access to its Snowflake servers. The company says only a 'limited amount of non-material information' was accessed and that there is no impact on its organization or players. A hacking group (ShinyHunters) claims the breach may include financial records for GTA Online and Red Dead Online, player spending data, marketing timelines, and contracts with major partners. The group threatened to release the data if demands were not met by April 14. This follows Rockstar's 2022 GTA 6 development footage leak and a 2023 early trailer leak.
