Roblox is launching Roblox Plus, a $5/month subscription service on April 30 that gives subscribers 10–20% discounts on in-game items and free access to paid private servers. Roblox will cover the discounts so creators continue earning the same per-item revenue. Creators can also earn bonuses of up to 100 Robux per subscriber using paid private servers, and 250 Robux/month (for up to 3 months) when users subscribe via an in-game API. The existing Roblox Premium subscription will be retired and stop accepting new sign-ups, with the additional 10% Robux bonus for Premium members ending in May.
