Revolut has launched AIR (AI by Revolut), an AI financial assistant available to its 13 million UK customers. AIR enables in-app chat-based management of finances including spending insights, investment tracking, subscription monitoring, card management, and travel assistance. It operates under a strict zero-data retention policy, only accessing data customers already see. The launch comes amid growing competition in AI-powered banking, with Starling Bank having launched a similar agentic AI assistant in March and Klarna and Lunar also deploying AI assistants for customer interactions.
