A developer reverse-engineered Viktor, a viral AI coworker by Zeta Labs, by prompting it to expose its own filesystem. The agent's workspace contained its internal SDK, 16 days of structured logs, API endpoint schemas, and 19 skill prompt files. Using Claude Code to analyze the extracted files alongside Viktor's public technical blog posts, the author reconstructed a detailed architecture specification in about 2 hours. He then spent two days reimplementing the entire system as an open-source, self-hostable project.
