A Commodore CBM 3032 (a European variant of the PET line, branded CBM due to a Philips trademark conflict) formerly owned by the University of Szczecin was restored after years in basement storage. The restoration involved disassembling the case by drilling out rivets, cleaning and repainting panels, replacing a potentiometer and an LM340KC-12 linear regulator, cleaning all IC sockets and contacts, fixing corroded keyboard components and broken PCB traces, and addressing cold solder joints. The machine now boots reliably and is ready for use by a local demoscene group.
