Ubisoft has reportedly laid off staff at its Abu Dhabi studio starting in December 2025, according to LinkedIn posts from affected employees. The cuts follow recent closures and layoffs at other Ubisoft locations including Halifax, Massive Entertainment, and Ubisoft Stockholm. The Abu Dhabi studio, established in 2011 as a regional development hub with over 60 employees, has worked on titles like CSI: Hidden Crimes and Growtopia. Ubisoft has not yet commented on the layoffs.
