Methinks Google still has the advantage when it comes to being a resource hub. ChatGPT is limited by its own code. Its knowledge did not go further than the year 2021, and it churns out incorrect information at times.
When they improved that and remained free, that is when it becomes a problem for Google, unless they want to adopt AI for their search engine, too.

Right now both are still useful, but I go to ChatGPT first for technical stuff.
