Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and IBM have unveiled the world's first-ever IBM quantum computer on a university campus, called the IBM Quantum System One. It aims to enhance educational and research opportunities and advance quantum computing research. The system is powered by a 127-qubit IBM Quantum 'Eagle' processor and is part of the Curtis R. Priem Constellation, which enables collaborative quantum computing research at RPI.
