Remarkable has announced the Paper Pure, a new black-and-white E Ink paper tablet priced at $399 that replaces the aging Remarkable 2. It features a 10.3-inch third-generation Canvas E Ink screen based on E Ink's Carta 1300 display, offering improved contrast and refresh speeds. The device is lighter at 360g, includes a larger 3,820mAh battery rated for up to three weeks of use, and ships in early June. A $449 bundle adds an upgraded stylus and folio case. New software features include Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook integration for meeting notes, and document conversion from Word or web pages to Remarkable's native format. These software updates will roll out to existing Remarkable tablets as well.
