Godot 4.6.2 RC 1 is now available for testing, bringing 86 improvements from 43 contributors since the 4.6.1 maintenance release. Key fixes include Jolt Physics corrections for gravity on elastic collisions, triangle vertex scaling, and kinematic movement accuracy; rendering fixes for canvas renderer memory reads, viewport debanding with spatial scalers, and mono/stereo fixed size rendering; Android FileAccess crash fix; iOS UIScene lifecycle events; and editor fixes for build profile generation and mute button behavior. macOS builds are unsigned in this RC but will be signed for the stable release. Testers are encouraged to report regressions via GitHub.
