Redpanda Cloud's Bring Your Own VPC (BYOVPC) for AWS is now generally available for production workloads. Unlike the existing BYOC model where Redpanda manages networking resources, BYOVPC lets teams pre-provision and fully control their own VPC, subnets, IAM roles, security groups, and S3 buckets. Redpanda's data plane deploys into the customer-defined environment without creating or modifying any networking or IAM resources. GA features include PrivateLink and Transit Gateway support, secrets management via Terraform, custom tagging for cost and compliance, automated validation checks at deploy time, and Redpanda Connect support. The feature is available to Redpanda Cloud customers with premium support.
