Redoubtful is a work-in-progress Linux agent sandbox written in Rust, built on top of bwrap and pasta. It features modular configuration profiles, a shadow filesystem mimicking the home directory, and a network port forwarding/filtering proxy. The project supports selectively mounting filesystem paths in read-only or read-write mode and is designed to safely run AI coding agents like pi.dev without granting them real credentials. Nearly all code was generated by a local Qwen3.6 27B model under close human supervision. Key remaining work includes proxy credential injection and packaging for broader use.
