React 19 has been a long time coming. The Canary process has been going for awhile now, but I think things are ready. I hope at least. From server components to actions to the death of forwardRef, this is looking pretty hype.

React 19 Is Finally Coming

Not sure why multiple comments are complaining about refactors. React has always prioritized backwards compatibility and encouraged incremental adoption of new features.
You can still write entire applications in class components if you so choose.

Its coming now you need to refactor your code base because there is a new modern way of building a React Application

I can just imagine the fun in refactoring old codebases, brace youself!

All the criticisms regarding the need for refactoring and addressing outdated code bases are unfounded. It’s important to note that there’s no necessity for a refactor of the existing code base. React has recently introduced advancements in bundling technology, where the new bundler will autonomously determine the optimal approach for your code, regardless of whether you’ve utilized useCallback, memo, or similar techniques.
