Re.Pack 5 is a major release of the webpack/Rspack-based bundler for React Native, introducing three headline improvements: first-class Rspack support delivering up to 5x faster builds and HMR compared to webpack, Module Federation 2 integration enabling true mobile microfrontends with standard dynamic import syntax instead of custom APIs, and dramatically simplified configuration reduced from verbose files to just 16 lines by default. The release also refreshes the init CLI command to support creating new React Native projects from scratch, adds SWC-based transpilation compatible with the official React Native Babel preset, and introduces dedicated plugins for popular community libraries. Migration guides are provided for existing Re.Pack 4 and webpack users. Future plans include OTA update support for MiniApps and Rsbuild integration.
