For any of my projects in the last years, Next.js was the framework of choice. For future projects I'm not sure anymore and I'm in the midst of a Next.js crisis so to say.

+1 for Remix if you want to stick with React. Previously, I would’ve recommended Next.js for pretty much anything, but these days I would probably recommend <a href="https://enhance.dev" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">enhance.dev</a> because of their web component focus. For a no-code alternative, I would use <a href="https://toddle.dev" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">toddle.dev</a> 🔥

Couldn’t agree more, when building some applications now days in nextjs i found them really complex and for no reason so i decided to create my new start-up in remix and have to say a really positive experience. back in the old pages router it was so simple to do things now alot more complex i feel
