A developer used a Ralph loop (an automated AI coding iteration script) with Claude Code and Uno Platform's MCP tooling to build a cross-platform financial tracking app overnight. Starting from a structured specification of 8 features broken into 42 GitHub issues, the loop ran 100 iterations autonomously, completing all tasks and generating over 1200 tests. The result was a functionally complete but UX-poor application, highlighting that AI agents can dramatically compress development time but require detailed UX specifications to produce usable interfaces. Key takeaway: development cost is no longer the bottleneck — design and specification quality are.
