Queue based consumption model coming to #kafka - Soby Chacko #coffeesoftware

Apache Kafka is introducing a queue-based consumption model via KIP-932, which adds shared consumers to Kafka. This feature was available as early access in Kafka 4.0, as a preview in 4.1, and is set to become a first-class GA feature in the upcoming Kafka 4.2. Spring Kafka 4 already has support for it, with full support for the queue-based consumption model coming in the Spring Kafka 4.1 release in May.
