Quarkus 3.32 has been released, marking the feature freeze for the upcoming 3.33 LTS release. Key highlights include integration with Project Leyden (JVM AOT compilation via OpenJDK 25), which dramatically reduces startup times — from 370ms to 80ms for minimal apps and from 3s to 900ms for large apps. Other additions include improved HTTP graceful shutdown, automatic Consul service registration via the Stork extension, multiple OIDC enhancements (custom DPoP nonce providers, rich authorization requests, AuthenticationCompletionAction), customizable authentication mechanism ordering, and an upgrade to Google Cloud Functions framework 2.0. Users on 3.27 LTS are encouraged to validate their upgrade path to 3.33 LTS.
