Qt Design Studio 4.8.2 Released

Qt Design Studio 4.8.2 introduces a fully agentic AI assistant built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Unlike the prompt-based beta in 4.8.1, the rebuilt assistant understands entire project structures and can autonomously read files, create components, and modify existing ones in an iterative loop. It supports models from Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI, with the ability to switch providers mid-conversation. The release also bumps the bundled Qt Kit from 6.8.5 to 6.8.6.
