I once built a custom api for a client using the QGIS docker container, at the time it was the only way to install the python libraries without installing the whole of QGIS.

Thanks to the developers. It’s the best cross-platform GIS app. I use it often.
I love how easy it is to create plugins. It’s not as complicated as with ESRI.
