It has always been clear that code gets read more times than it is written. Besides - the thought, that a computer creates software by writing human readable code is funny as well. Its like in the ads, where robots sit in front of keyboards and read from monitors.

No, they do not produce working code. They produce pseudo code. They have no clue of context and build in assumptions that will destroy even the most coherent system architecture over time. I use them every day and have to work very hard to prevent it from happening.

I am convinced that later on, I don’t know like 3 years, 5 years, 10 years, 30 years, 50 years from now. Computers will speak our own language.
And programming would be easy by just talking to the AI. Like Iron man’s Travis.
