In 30 years time, all the seniors developers would be retired. Because there are less juniors now, there won’t enough devs to replace them.
Yes AI can replace juniors, but is this really beneficial down the line?

An interesting perspective of this is how South Korea’s birth rate per capita has reached levels so low (0.7) that their future is already sealed to be doomed.
Even if they changed things around at an unprecedented rate, the damage has already been done and the amount of people at the elderly homes and not in the working fields will cause an economical crisis.
…Ironically, these circumstances remind me very much of this pattern companies are following, not hiring junior developers.

AI does all the work. We need to be hired to fine-tune what is actually true and what is not. We add morality, ethics, and justice to these AI programs or employees. We need this type of manager: compliance managers with strong interpersonal skills, or at least knowledge of this behavior.

The junior are not hired (only) to do simple things, no one company want junior forever
