Cloudflare has significantly improved Python Workers performance through WebAssembly memory snapshots, reducing cold start times from 10 seconds to about 1 second for heavy packages. The platform now supports any Pyodide-compatible package and introduces pywrangler CLI with uv package manager integration. Python Workers now achieve 2.4x faster startup than AWS Lambda and 3x faster than Google Cloud Run, with expanded features including FastAPI integration, Workflows support, and Durable Objects for stateful applications.
