Python 3.15.0 alpha 3 is now available as an early developer preview. Key features include PEP 799 (a new high-frequency statistical sampling profiler), PEP 686 (UTF-8 as default encoding), PEP 782 (new PyBytesWriter C API), and improved error messages. This is the third of seven planned alpha releases, with the beta phase starting May 2026. The release is not recommended for production use as features may still be added, modified, or removed before the final release.
