Python 3.12.2 and 3.11.8 have been released with bug fixes and improvements. Python 3.12.2 includes a fix for automatically reading and executing hidden .pth files during startup. Releases of Python 3.8, 3.9, and 3.10 with the same fix are expected next week. The Python Software Foundation and the release team are behind these new releases.
