Pulumi IAM introduces tag-based access control and role assignments for teams and users, enabling least-privilege access management at scale.

Pulumi IAM now supports three new access management capabilities for enterprise teams: tag-based access control, team role assignments, and user role assignments. Tag-based rules dynamically grant permissions to IaC stacks, ESC environments, and Insights accounts based on entity tags, eliminating manual one-by-one assignments. Teams can now have custom roles assigned directly, so new members automatically inherit permissions via SCIM or manual provisioning. Individual users can also receive custom roles for cross-team responsibilities. Permissions are additive across all assigned roles. The features are available on Pulumi Enterprise and Business Critical plans, and can be enforced alongside Pulumi Policy to ensure consistent tagging standards.
